ABOUT

Who I am

I am an actively practicing veterinarian in Mesa, Arizona.  I obtained my DVM at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed my clinical training at The University of Wisconsin-Madison.  After completion of a 4-year DVM degree, I went on to complete a rigorous 1-year internship program at VCA Animal Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona in Mesa Arizona, focusing on Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Radiology, and Surgery.

Why I do this

I think we can all admit that it's easy to feel like our world shrinks once we start into our working lives.  As a Canadian, and previously well travelled individual, I wanted an opportunity to broaden my horizons and share my knowledge and experience with those outside my current practice area here in Arizona.

What I can do for you

I am here to be a reliable, up-to-date (as best I can!), resource for accurate, medically sound information related to the common ailments that afflict our beloved dogs and cats.  I will also take the time to review some of the most popular veterinary products and try to provide my two cents on common internet rumors related to animal health that plague the internet today.  The knowledge I hope to share with you comes from my own experience on the frontlines, as well as that which I have gained from my immediate colleagues in practice and others in the veterinary community.

The nitty-gritty legal stuff...

While I would love to be your "e-Vet", both reality and the law limits the extent to which this can be the case.  The truth?  We just can't be expected to know what's going on with Sparky, or Max, or Shadow until we lay our eyes and hands on the little guy in person- this is where a visit with your vet is critical.  While I am always excited to answer general questions related to the topics discussed, I cannot consult on your pet specifically should such advice be sought.
